Warning: G8 is certified intrinsically safe only as supplied by Blackline Safety. Intrinsic safety is compromised, and the certification is void, if the device is:

- Modified, opened, disassembled, or repaired by anyone other than Blackline Safety or a Blackline-certified service partner, except as described in this manual

- Operated with any part missing or loose, or with damage beyond normal wear

- Fitted with replacement parts or accessories that are not genuine Blackline Safety parts

If G8 is missing any part or shows damage beyond normal wear, do not use it in a hazardous location. Remove it from service and contact Blackline Safety Technical Support, your Blackline representative, or a Blackline-certified service partner for approved replacement parts. If you are unsure whether damage affects intrinsic safety, remove the device from service and contact Blackline Safety Technical Support.

Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety. Blackline Safety is not responsible for any injury, damage or loss resulting from use of a device that has been modified, is incomplete, or contains non-Blackline parts or accessories.
