Operating and Storing G8 Multi-unit Chargers

Optimal environmental parameters for operating and storing G8 multi-unit chargers.

Operate and store G8 multi-unit chargers within the following environmental parameters:
  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F)

  • Storage temperature: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)

  • Humidity: Non-condensing, up to 95%

Charging Time and Temperature Range

The following conditions affect the time it takes G8 and G8 PowerPack (when attached to a G8 device) to charge:
  • Temperatures between 0°C and 15°C (32°F to 59°F): G8's built-in battery takes six and a half hours to charge.

  • Temperatures between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 104°F): G8's built-in battery takes four and a half hours to charge.

  • Temperatures between 30°C and 40°C (86°F to 104°F): G8's built-in battery takes six and a half hours to charge.

  • Temperatures between 15°C and 40°C (59°F to 104°F): When G8 PowerPack is attached to G8, G8 charges first. When G8 is fully charged, G8 PowerPack can take up to an additional three and a half hours to charge.
    Note: G8 PowerPack will not charge outside of this temperature range.
